Arunachal Pradesh transfers 9 specialist doctors to strengthen healthcare services
Guwahati: Nine specialist doctors have been transferred to hospitals and community health centres across Arunachal Pradesh as part of the state government's efforts to strengthen healthcare services and improve access to specialist medical care.
According to an order issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare on July 27, the transfers have been implemented with immediate effect in the interest of public service and with the approval of the competent authority.

The transfers involve specialists from the departments of Paediatrics, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Pathology. The initiative is intended to ensure a more balanced distribution of specialist medical professionals across districts, thereby enhancing the availability of quality healthcare services in underserved areas.
As per the order, Dr Ojing Tayeng has been transferred from District Hospital, Yingkiong, to District Hospital, Likhabali; Dr Inan Lollen from District Hospital, Boleng, to District Hospital, Basar; Dr Martum Jokik from District Hospital, Koloriang, to Community Health Centre, Chowkham; and Dr Rita Mena from District Hospital, Anini, to Zonal General Hospital, Tezu, reports Northeast Now.
The transfer order also includes Dr Tana Jesy Tara, who has been shifted from Community Health Centre, Doimukh, to Community Health Centre, Sagalee, while Dr Deepa Yudik Taba has been moved from Community Health Centre, Seijosa, to District Hospital, Anini. Dr Surat Nabam has been transferred from Community Health Centre, Pake Kessang, to Urban Community Health Centre, Itafort.
The order further states that Dr Nang Neeta has been transferred from Zonal General Hospital, Aalo, to District Hospital, Namsai, while Dr Kago Aring has been moved from General Tadar Zonal General Hospital, Ziro, to Zonal General Hospital, Tezu.
The Health and Family Welfare Department has directed all concerned authorities and the transferred doctors to comply with the order immediately to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure uninterrupted healthcare services.
The notification was issued under the signature of Pawan Kumar Sain, IAS, Commissioner, Health and Family Welfare, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
