Medical Dialogues had previously reported that in a shocking incident, a doctor running a private hospital in Vikarabad town was arrested for allegedly operating a marijuana (ganja) racket under the cover of running a medical facility. The doctor was found in possession of 65 grams of ganja and has been remanded to judicial custody following his arrest. According to the police, he turned to the illegal drug trade driven by greed for quick money, abandoning the ethical values of his medical profession. For the past few months, he had reportedly been procuring ganja through an agent and distributing it among known contacts.
