According to police, the doctor was on duty when the accused arrived at the hospital with his grandfather. During the medical examination, the elderly man's blood sugar level was found to be around 400.
Police said the accused subsequently raised concerns over the hospital's facilities, complaining that there were not even adequate seating arrangements for patients and attendants. The discussion reportedly escalated, after which he allegedly began abusing the doctor.
The doctor reportedly tried to calm the man and counsel him, but the accused allegedly continued the confrontation. He then took out his mobile phone and started recording videos of the incident.
Following the incident, the doctor approached Piplani police and lodged a complaint. Police have registered a case under relevant sections for abuse and obstruction of government work and are investigating the matter, reports TOI.
Police are investigating the incident and examining the circumstances surrounding the alleged confrontation at the hospital.
