DCI Warns Against Impersonators Claiming Ties to Council President

New Delhi- The Dental Council of India (DCI) has issued a public notice informing that a few individuals, through phone calls, are contacting and trying to impersonate as relatives of the President, Dental Council of India, regarding inspection and related matters.
Hence, through the notice, DCI has informed that these people are not related to the President or any office bearers of the DCI.
The DCI strictly follows the rules and regulations of the Council in a transparent manner in all aspects and does not contract any institutions or individuals outside the standard official channels.
Meanwhile, the public is advised not to engage in any conversation with the persons trying to call or communicate on behalf of the DCI office or office bearers. Any individual taking cognisance or acting on such conversations does so at their own risk.
The DCI remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting the public from misinformation. Therefore, the notice is issued to safeguard the public from any misinformation and to prevent any unauthorised activities carried out by the impersonators.
The Dental Council of India has been constituted by an Act of Parliament to regulate the profession of dentistry and also to maintain the highest standards of dental education in the country. It is the statutory and bounden duty of the DCI to take such steps as are required to be taken to maintain the highest standards of dental education in the country
Any dental qualification granted by any person/authority/institution is not valid unless and until it is according to the norms of the DCI Act and Regulations made thereunder, the respective provisions of Section 10, 10A and 10B of the Dentists Act, 1948.
