Police said on Friday that the address of the ambulance in the ARTO office was registered in the name of the doctor as 56, Shyam Sun Hospital, Rafinagar, Barabanki, which did not exist for many years.
Lucknow: An FIR has been registered against a doctor of Mau district in the city Kotwali police station in connection with the ambulance used by mafia don Mukhtar Ansari while going from Ropar jail in Punjab to Delhi recently.
When the UP police administration started investigating after the matter came in the headlines, the address at which the ambulance was registered and the hospital operated here turned out to be fake.

After this, ARTO (administration) Pankaj Singh gave a police complaint at Kotwali police station in Mau district to register an FIR in this case.
CO City Seema Yadav said that a case has been registered against the doctor from Mau district, in the ambulance case. The police will investigate the entire case and take strong action against the culprits, she said.
It is known that mafia don Mukhtar Ansari of Mau district has been lodged in Ropar jail in Punjab for a long time. The UP government had approached even the Supreme Court to bring him back.
UP police went to Punjab to take charge of Mukhtar on the orders of the Supreme Court. Mukhtar, who reached the court from there, used a registered private ambulance (UP 41 AT 7171) of Barabanki district.
Police said on Friday that the address of the ambulance in the ARTO office was registered in the name of the doctor as 56, Shyam Sun Hospital, Rafinagar, Barabanki, which did not exist for many years.
The police reached this address and investigated but no clue was found. Throughout the day, the government staff was secretly busy in search of this connection of Mukhtar.
On the other hand, ambulance papers were scrutinized at the ARTO office which found that it was registered on December 13, 2013, and the ambulance is not fit since February 1, 2016, and has not been insured since January 2017.
At the same time, the ambulance's owner, the doctor, is said to be a resident of Mau district. On January 20, 2020, a notice was sent by ARTO to the doctor.
At the same time, no hospital registration on this name has been found in the CMO office too.
