Maharashtra Doctor found dead; Police suspects suicide due to professional stress

Thane: In an unfortunate incident, a Maharashtra based doctor was recently found dead by the police. The doctor's body was found floating near the creek shore at Desai village in Daighar. While the police suspects it to be a case of suicide due to professional pressure; the exact reason is not yet ascertained.
The deceased doctor was reportedly operating a clinic in Mumbra.
According to a recent report by TOI, the doctor's body was found floating near the village's creek by the locals. After getting the information about the same, the police rushed to the spot and retracted the body from the stream and launched an investigation into the matter.

During the preliminary investigations, the police have ruled out this case to be a murder. Speaking to the TOI, a police officer informed, "Primary probe has ruled out foul play and it is suspected he committed suicide probably due to professional stress or some other reason."
In the meantime, the body has been sent for post-mortem and a case of accidental death report has been registered by the police.
Medical Dialogues had recently reported about a tragic case wherein a 23-year-old resident doctor attached to a Ghaziabad based Santosh Medical College allegedly committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance at his rented flat recently. As per the suicide note found next to the doctor's dead body, he was troubled from the last 10 years, however, what troubled him to take the drastic step is still a mystery.
His body was found dead lying next to two bottles of soft drink and a vial of poisonous substance in his apartment.
