Orthopaedic Surgeon Prof Dr Raju Vaishya appointed Co-Editor-in-Chief of SICOT-J

New Delhi: In a significant development for the global orthopaedic community, Dr Prof Raju Vaishya, a distinguished Indian orthopaedic surgeon from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, has been appointed as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of SICOT-J, the official journal of the Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie (SICOT).
This appointment marks a historic first, as Dr. Prof. Vaishya becomes the inaugural Indian orthopaedic surgeon to hold this esteemed global leadership position.
SICOT-J is a highly respected international journal that publishes peer-reviewed articles on all aspects of orthopaedic surgery and traumatology. Its current impact factor is 2.3, and the Cite Score is 3.4 and lies in Q2 of all global Orthopaedic journals. The selection of Dr. Prof. Vaishya for such a pivotal role demonstrates the increasing recognition of India's contributions to global medical science and research.
