2 Hospital staff robbed of Rs 23 lakh in Jaipur, 3 arrested

Accused Arrested
Jaipur: Following the robbery case in Jaipur city's Mansarovar area, where two hospital employees were robbed of 23 lakh, three men were arrested on Tuesday. The robbery involved a violent attack on the victims who were transporting cash on behalf of a doctor.
The incident occurred near the Rajasthan Dharam Kanta in Mansarovar on February 19, when two hospital employees, Dayal Nogia and Sitaram Jat, were attacked and their bag filled with cash was snatched.
According to the police, the victims were transporting money on a motorcycle for a business transaction on behalf of Dr Soni when a car without a registration plate blocked their way. Two men then emerged from the vehicle, assaulted the victims, and fled with the bag of cash.

Speaking to TOI, ACP Mansarovar Aditya Kakde said police traced the unregistered car heading toward Phagi, prompting police to form multiple teams and conduct raids across Tonk, Kota, Chittorgarh, and Bhilwara. However, the suspects had already moved back toward Jaipur.
The breakthrough came during a naka bandi (checkpoint) operation, where the police arrested two suspects, aged 20 and 24, both residents of Malpura Gate in Sanganer. During interrogation, the suspects disclosed the involvement of a third individual, a 25-year-old resident of Madhorajpura.
Further investigation revealed that the robbery was carefully planned from within the hospital. The 25-year-old suspect, who worked as a cashier at the location where the money was to be delivered, became aware of the cash transfer. Taking advantage of the situation, he orchestrated the heist and enlisted the help of the other two suspects to carry out the robbery while the hospital employees were en route to Muhana Mandi.
