CM Revanth Reddy to inaugurate 100-bed hospital with trauma centre in Nalgonda district
The 100-bed facility will include a trauma care centre aimed at providing timely treatment to road accident victims on NH 65 between Choutuppal and Kodad.
Nalgonda: A new 100-bed hospital in Nakrekal, Nalgonda district, is set to strengthen access to emergency and trauma care along National Highway 65, with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy scheduled to inaugurate the facility on September 5, 2026.
The hospital will include a dedicated trauma care centre to provide treatment to road accident victims.
At present, there is no trauma care centre on the highway between Choutuppal and Kodad, making it difficult to shift critically injured patients to appropriate facilities within the crucial “golden hour.”
With the new trauma centre at Nakrekal, accident victims along this stretch of the national highway will have access to emergency treatment closer to the site of accidents. The facility is consequently expected to play an important role in improving timely medical intervention for road traffic injuries in the region.

The 100-bed hospital will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during his visit to Nakrekal. The visit will also include the launch of other development-related works in the town, reports Deccan Chronicle.
During the programme, the Chief Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stones for buildings for a Telangana Model School and a tahsildar office. He will also address a public meeting at the mini outdoor stadium in Nakrekal.
Preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit are being coordinated by the district administration and police authorities. Nalgonda District Collector B. Chandrasekhar and Superintendent of Police Sharath Chandra Pawar inspected the mini outdoor stadium to review arrangements and issued necessary instructions to officials.
The planned trauma care facility assumes particular importance given the need for rapid assessment and treatment following serious road accidents. Delays in transporting injured patients can affect their chances of receiving timely care, especially in cases requiring immediate medical intervention.
