Illegal clinic busted in Gurugram, fake doctor arrested
Gurugram: A joint team of the Chief Minister's flying squad and the Health Department busted an alleged illegal clinic and arrested a fake doctor in Gurugram's Binaula village, police said on Tuesday. The team also seized medicines and medical equipment from the clinic.
According to an official from the CM Flying Squad, they received information that a fake doctor was allegedly providing treatment without a licence, endangering public health. Acting on this, Medical Officer Dr Sandeep from the CMO’s office was instructed on Monday evening to join the CM Flying Squad for a raid, officials said, reports PTI.

“Based on the information, the team arrived at Saini Clinic, located near the ‘Terry Shop’ in Binola village. At the clinic, they found a man treating patients. When the team asked for his degree and license, he could not produce any documents.
During the inspection, officials recovered three beds, a stethoscope, a blood pressure machine, a thermometer, injections, medicines, used syringes and needles, medical equipment, prescription slips, lab reports, and the clinic’s register.
The team also seized a doctor’s stamp that was allegedly being used by the accused, police said.
According to the PTI report, following the health department’s complaint, an FIR was registered against the fake doctor under section 34 of the NMC Act, and sections 125 and 318 (4) of the BNS at Bilaspur police station and police arrested the accused.
“We are investigating the matter and are questioning the accused”, said ASI Rajesh Kumar, the investigating officer.
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that in a move to curb the growing menace of unqualified individuals practising medicine, Malaviyanagar police have arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly running a clinic and treating patients without possessing a valid medical degree.
