KIMS Cuddles Thane performs 100-plus Pediatric Cardiac Surgeries in five months

Maharashtra: The Department of Pediatric Cardiac Sciences has successfully completed over 100 Pediatric Cardiac surgeries and procedures within the first 5 months, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to advanced and compassionate cardiac care for children.

The milestone reflects the hospital’s growing expertise in managing complex congenital heart conditions in infants and children, supported by advanced infrastructure, skilled clinicians, and a multidisciplinary approach. Out of the 100+ procedures, a significant number involved highly complex pediatric cardiac interventions, including ⁠Transposition of great arteries, Arch repair, ⁠TAPVC repairs and Several other high-end neonatal heart surgeries and interventions.

Nearly 1 out of every 10 procedures fell under the high-complexity category, requiring advanced expertise, precision, and multidisciplinary coordination.
