The patient’s son lodged a complaint with the police, following which a case was registered against the doctors of the hospital. An investigation has been taken up, reports the Telangana Today.
The Mancherial incident is not an isolated case. Across the country, there have been multiple reports of patients suffering due to alleged medical negligence and unethical practices in private hospitals, highlighting the urgent need for stricter accountability in healthcare services. In one such case, a 19-year-old in Dispur lost his life following alleged medical negligence involving a network of brokers and a private hospital.
