Kalaburagi: In a shocking case of medical negligence, the district president of Yuva Karnataka Forum has demanded strict action against the doctors and staff at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Kodli village, Kalagi taluk, Kalaburagi district, following the tragic death of a pregnant woman due to alleged medical negligence.

He further stated that despite the victim repeatedly visiting the PHC with complaints of shooting pains on both sides of her abdomen, the medical staff failed to take her condition seriously. Additionaly, when she was admitted on January 9, her health check-up details from the past three months were not recorded on her card. However, after the nurse visited the woman's house on January 15, the card was updated with all the routine check-up information.
In the wake of this tragic incident, the Yuva Karnataka forum has called for the suspension of doctors and staff members who it said are responsible for the woman's death.
