Protests erupt after 50-year-old dies during treatment

Medical Negligence
Medak: A 50-year-old man died while undergoing treatment at a private nursing home in Toopran, with his relatives accusing a male nurse of carrying out duties that are typically reserved for a doctor.
The deceased, identified as a resident of Shivvampet, was reportedly admitted to Raghavendra Nursing Home on Sunday morning after complaining of severe stomach pain.
According to Telangana Today, however, the relatives alleged it was a male nurse who treated him in the absence of the doctors.
Tragically, the patient passed away just a few hours after being admitted to the hospital. The relatives, devastated by the loss, staged a protest outside the nursing home, demanding accountability for the incident. They alleged that had a qualified doctor been present, the outcome could have been different.
The Grieving relatives have also filed a case at the Toopran police station, accusing the nursing home of negligence and malpractice. Authorities are set to investigate the circumstances leading to the untimely death of the patient.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the quality of healthcare and the potential risks of unqualified personnel providing medical treatment.
