Telangana to get 200 bedded super speciality Hospital at cost of Rs 185.5 crore
Sangareddy: With an aim to provide better healthcare services to the citizen of Patancheru town, a new 200-bedded super speciality hospital will be established in the area at a cost of Rs 185.55 crores.
The state government granted the sanction of the budget on Saturday. The government would provide 46.22 crores while the remaining amount would be given by the Pollution Control Board Rs 138.65 crore. The Pollution Control Board will procure the funds from the bulk drug industries. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) determined the budget procurement under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The hospital will be built on 8.15 acres of land near the Urban Health Centre in the town and would cater to burn injuries patients since the workers get burn injuries often working in the bulk drug industries. A special ward to treat burn injury patients would be made in this regard. The workers as well as the locals praised the decision to establish a super speciality hospital in the area.
