Unfortunate: Malayali doctor dies in car accident at Houston
Houston: In an unfortunate incident, a Malayali doctor died in a car accident in Houston, United States. She was a Baylor faculty member and worked primarily at Harris Health clinics.
The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Dr Mini Vettical, a native of Ramamangalam, living who has in Houston with her family for a long time.
The accident occurred on Wednesday 7 in Scott Street around 4 pm when Dr Mini was driving her car and a bike from another direction hit her car which resulted in the death of both of them. Dr Mini died on the spot and the youth who was driving the bike was taken to the hospital but unfortunately, he died as well.

Dr Mini was known for her selfless, humble and kind nature and was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Celestine Vettical, and her five beautiful children, Pooja, Eesha, Diya, Dylan, and Aiden.
Mini was born on the 16th of October 1970, in Kuwait to Aleyamma and Paulose Kunnathu. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas and specialized in Internal Medicine. Mini taught at the Baylor College of Medicine and dedicated herself to helping patients. She took pride in her work of caring for those in need and chose to work in public clinics for medically underserved populations throughout the city of Houston.
"She was that kind of a unique individual, and she never expected anything from anybody else, including from family," her husband informed KHOU. apart from specialising in the medical field, she was also a dancer, model and vlogger.
Her funeral would be held on today at the Houston St Anne Catholic church cemetery.
