NBE to hold its 23rd Convocation on May 23, check details

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that its 23rd Convocation ceremony will be held on May 23, 2026, at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.
The event will include an award ceremony for Gold Medalists, with Union Health Minister Shri J. P. Nadda attending as the Chief Guest.
During the convocation, degrees will be awarded to candidates who have successfully qualified in DNB Exit Examinations, DrNB Exit Examinations, FNB Exit Examinations and NBEMS Diploma Examinations.
Therefore, candidates of the following sessions who have qualified the above mentioned examinations shall be conferred with degree in this Convocation-

As per the official notice issued in this regard, NBE has started online registration for the convocation on its official website. All eligible candidates are required to complete registration on or before May 4, 2026 by paying the enrollment fee of ₹2,500.
During registration for the convocation on the NBEMS portal, candidates must provide their current correspondence address. All degree certificates will be sent to the address specified in their registration form.
However, candidates who have already paid the degree enrolment fee at the time of their final examination are exempted from paying it again.
Meanwhile, candidates who have been declared Gold Medal winners will be invited to attend the ceremony in person to receive their medals and degree certificates.
NBEMS has stated that it will endeavour to dispatch degree certificates within four months after the convocation to candidates who are unable to attend. However, this timeline may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.
