Shocking: UP woman declared dead by doctor wakes up before funeral
Firozabad: An incident that has shocked and baffled many occurred at UP’s Firozabad, where an 81-year-old woman came back to life during her last rites after a doctor declared her dead following a brain haemorrhage.
Although the woman woke up when she was being taken to a crematorium, she, unfortunately, died the next day after the incident took place.
The woman was a resident of Bilaspur who was taken to a crematorium in Bilaspur of Jasrana town of Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad after she was declared dead by a doctor.

The history of her diagnosis goes back to December 23, last year when the woman was admitted to the Firozabad Trauma centre where the doctor observed that her brain and heart stopped functioning the next day. After examining her, the doctor said that she was clinically dead and there was no hope for her life to again function properly.
Following this, her family members prepared themselves to bid her a last farewell but a spine-chilling incident occurred in front of the relatives who were doing preparations for her last rites.
The relatives were shocked and confused to witness the woman who was declared dead open her eyes all of a sudden while she was being taken at the crematorium. Realising that she was alive, the relatives brought her back home.
After reaching home, she donated a few cows and drank tea from a spoon, according to the neighbours at the village. It was a relief for the relatives that the oldest member of the family was able to live again. However, the next day she was found dead, APN reports.
Meanwhile, the family members of the woman blamed the doctor for negligence and accused him of giving false news about her death while she was still alive.
Later, her son performed her last rites and she was cremated late in the evening. Talking to the media, her son narrated the whole scene and said that his mother was alive but doctors have declared her dead.
