Emcure Pharma names RS Vasan as President - India Business
Pune: Emcure Pharma has announced the appointment of R.S. Vasan as President - India Business and Senior Management Personnel of the Company.
"We would like to inform that upon recommendation of Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors vide its resolution passed by circulation dated July 14, 2025, has appointed Mr. R.S. Vasan as President – India Business and Senior Management Personnel (“SMP”) of the Company w.e.f. July 14, 2025, as per Regulation 16(1)(d) of SEBI Listing Regulations," Emcure stated in a BSE filing.
R.S. Vasan has over 40 plus years of experience in Pharmaceuticals Industry and has held various senior leadership positions. Prior to joining Emcure, he was associated with Sun Pharma for more than 15 years and has previously held senior roles at other Pharma Companies.
Vasan holds a PG in Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney, Australia and is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore & ISB Hyderabad. He is also a Rank Holder in Master of Science in Organic Chemistry.
