Maharashtra CET Cell Begins CAP Registration for B.Pharmacy Admissions 2026-27

Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has commenced the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) registration for admission to undergraduate B.Pharmacy courses for the academic year 2026-27. Eligible candidates seeking admission to pharmacy programmes in Maharashtra can complete the registration process through the official admission portal within the prescribed schedule.
The admission process is open for candidates who have qualified through MHT-CET 2026 or other accepted entrance examinations as specified in the admission rules. Applicants are required to register online, upload the necessary documents, complete document verification, and confirm their application before participating in the CAP counselling process.
As part of the admission procedure, candidates must carefully fill in their personal, academic, and examination details, upload all mandatory certificates, and ensure that the information provided matches the supporting documents. The CET Cell has advised applicants to verify their documents through the designated Scrutiny Centres or through the online e-scrutiny facility, wherever applicable.
Following successful registration and document verification, the provisional merit list will be published by the CET Cell. Candidates will be given an opportunity to submit grievances, if any, before the final merit list is released. Seat allotment will subsequently be carried out through multiple CAP rounds based on candidates' merit, category, reservation criteria, seat availability, and preferences filled during the option form process.
Candidates allotted seats must report to the allotted institutes within the stipulated period to confirm admission by completing document verification and payment of the prescribed fees. Failure to complete the admission formalities within the specified timeline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat, in accordance with the admission guidelines.
The CET Cell has also advised candidates to regularly visit the official admission portal for updates regarding the registration schedule, merit lists, CAP rounds, option form submission, institute reporting, and other admission-related notifications. Detailed information brochures containing eligibility criteria, reservation policy, admission rules, and counselling guidelines are available on the admission portal, reports The Indian Express.
