Viral video: Woman thrashes man over differences in switching off air cooler at Ambikapur Medical College Hospital
Raipur: In a controversial incident reported from Ambikapur Medical College Hospital in Chhattisgarh, a video of a woman hitting a man over differences in switching off an air cooler went viral on social media. The video was shot inside the waiting hall of the hospital in which a woman could be seen suddenly confronting a man sitting on the hospital floor and began to hit him with a slipper. She reportedly kicks him continuously while another person standing beside her keeps jabbing at the man with a stick.
The man was reportedly sleeping in the waiting hall of the hospital with the air cooler on which was switched off by a woman who came there. However, the woman began hitting her when the man questioned her about turning off the cooler.

The woman could be seen hitting the man continuously in the video after their altercation, following which the security guards reached the place and quickly brought the situation under control by taking the man away, reports NDTV.
According to the hospital management, the man was sleeping there without a specific reason since he was looking for a place to stay. The management added that the hospital would be looking out to prevent such unauthorised entries into its premises again. The local police were also called, who then interrogated the man and asked him to leave the hospital premises since he didn't have any valid reason to stay there.
The video reportedly attracted the attention of various users online who commented under it disapprovingly, with many criticizing the act of the woman.
