Ahmedabad: Three medical colleges got new deans while two hospitals got new Medical Superintendent in the latest shuffle in Gujarat. The major appointments included the appointment of Dr. Kalpesh Shah as the Dean of BJ Medical College, Dr. Mukesh Samani as dean of PDU Medical College, Dr. Shailesh Patel as dean of Government Medical College in Surat , Dr. Ganesh Govekar as medical superintendent of new Civil Hospital in Surat and Dr. Hita Mehta as medical superintendent of PDU Hospital in Rajkot.
After the state, Health, and Family Welfare Department made major appointments in medical colleges and government hospitals across Gujarat on Thursday, Dr. Kalpesh Shah has been appointed as the dean of BJ Medical College.
