Dental Coordinator at Gurugram hospital allegedly commits suicide, 2 booked for abetment
Gurugram: A dental coordinator working at a private hospital in Gurugram allegedly committed suicide at her house on Thursday evening.
The 30-year-old woman's family alleged mental harassment by her husband and his mother. Based on the complaint, police booked her husband and mother-in-law for abetment to suicide.
The incident came to light at around 6.30 pm after her family asked one of her colleagues to go check up on her since they could not reach her on the phone since Thursday morning, according to the police. They added that when the colleague reached her house, he saw the gate was not locked from inside and the door was left open. The statement of the family was recorded around 1 AM on Friday and an FIR was lodged against the husband and his mother under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of IPC.
A police officer investigating the case told The Indian Express, "No suicide note was found.
