GMC Baramulla MBBS medico found dead
Srinagar: In an unfortunate incident, a Jammu-based medico has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
The deceased was pursuing MBBS from the Government Medical College, Baramulla.
According to recent media reports, the deceased has been identified as a 22-year-old who was a resident of Jammu. The medico was residing in a rented accommodation at Fethipora Baramulla. He was found hanging at his rented apartment on Tuesday.
As soon as the body was discovered, police rushed to the place and started their investigation, reports Free Press Kashmir.
Police have registered a case of unnatural death. However, the reason behind his drastic step is yet to be revealed. His friends and colleagues have extended their condolences to the bereaved family of the medico.
Many have posted on social media expressing their grief and demanding a strict investigation of the matter.

This is second such case of alleged suicide of a medico within a month. A few weeks ago a first-year resident doctor of the BJ Medical College was found hanging in the hostel room of the Civil Hospital campus.According to the PG director of BJ Medical College Dr Nita Mehta, the student had joined the classes on May 5 but had not attended any of the classes. The roommate of the deceased described the deceased as an introvert person who kept to himself and did not talk to a lot of people.
