GMC Jammu gets NBEMS accreditation to strat DNB Psychiatry programme

Jammu: Psychiatry Department of Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu has finally secured an accreditation from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to start the DNB Psychiatry programme.
An agreement will be signed between the Principal of Jammu and NBEMS within the next 10 days after which the DNB Psychiatry programme will be inaugurated in the department.
The concerned authorities paid a visit to the institution a few months ago and being convinced of the potentiality of the facility and the department, accreditation for DNB Psychiatry has been provided to the facility.
