2 NEET aspirants booked for submitting fake disability certificates for MBBS admission to Gandhi Medical College Bhopal

Bhopal: In a case of fake documents fraud, two National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) aspirants were found submitting fake disability certificates during counselling to get admission into Gandhi Medical College.
After the matter came to light, the medical college administration lodged a complaint and an FIR was registered by Bhopal's Koh-e-Fiza police on Saturday night.
In this regard, GMC Dean Dr Kavita Singh informed that one of the NEET aspirants was from Bihar and the other from Maharashtra. Both submitted forged disability certificates during counselling for the MBBS course. The certificates were found to be fraudulent during the scrutiny process and their admissions were subsequently cancelled.
Meanwhile, according to a Free Press Journal news report, Koh-e-Fiza police station in-charge KG Shukla said that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, according to the MCC seat matrix, a total of 115 seats are vacant for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses. Of these, a total of 20 seats are vacant for BSc Nursing, 36 for BDS and 59 for MBBS Courses.
As per the revised schedule, the NEET UG stray vacancy 2025 Counselling for the AIQ, Deemed and Central Universities has been started and will be end on 20th November 2025. Additionally, the state counselling will begun from 11th to 14th November 2025. However, the Academic Session for UG Courses has been begun from 22nd September, 2025. Below is the schedule-
