Govt. to Organize Health Camps for Women, says CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that health camps will be organized for women in all the districts. Arrangements will also be made for necessary treatment after health check-up and examination of women in the camps. Along with the gynecologists and doctors of the state, a safe environment and environment is available to all the doctors to discharge their responsibilities.

If this ideal situation remains, the agencies concerned will be kept active in this direction also. According to the findings of the research papers presented in the five-day gynecologist convention being held in Indore, the state government will also make necessary arrangements.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was inaugurating the 64th All India Obstetrics and Gynecology Convention (AICOG 2022) being held in Indore today through video conference from the Chief Minister's residence. Health Commissioner Dr. Sudam Khade and session's co-secretary Dr. Rachna Dubey were present. The convention is being organized by Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI).

Institutional deliveries increased in Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this convention is very important from the point of view that activities were suspended due to Corona in the last two years. The Fossey organization deserves congratulations for the design of this convention. Continuous work has been done for the empowerment of women in Madhya Pradesh. They have been empowered by providing them with better health and education facilities. Schemes like Ladli Laxmi have been very successful. The sex ratio in the state has increased to 956 from the birth of 912 daughters per 1000 sons. Our effort and goal is to make this number even. There should be no distinction between sons and daughters.

Women empowerment is our priority, will not spare the miscreants

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that women empowerment is the priority of the state government. Madhya Pradesh is the first state where 50 percent seats in local bodies were given to women. Women also showed merit. If you look at the example of Indore, then Mrs. Malini Gaur became the Mayor, after that Indore is consistently on top in the field of cleanliness. Also, the miscreants are not being spared. Action is not limited to registering FIR only against persons committing violence or incest against girls or women on the soil of Madhya Pradesh, but work is also being done to break the economic back of such persons. Work is being done to demolish the houses of such persons with bulldozers at various places. The miscreants will not be spared under any circumstances.

Experience of experts will be useful in the treatment of rural women

Referring to the health problems of rural women, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that often due to hesitation, many women do not express their physical pain, due to which their suffering turns into breast and uterus cancer. Due to delay, proper treatment is also not possible. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expressed the hope that this convention will provide technical skills of gynecologists, The best innovations and experiences will be brought out after mutual exchange of important conclusions. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expressed the hope that experts who have daily experience of the challenges of obstetrics and gynecological diseases will also work to show necessary direction to the government.

Doctors have their right to a safe environment

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that people associated with medical service are hardworking, they work even in adverse circumstances. Doctors have given commendable services during the Corona period. Sometimes some elements take violent action against the medical class, such activities will not be tolerated. Incidents of violence against doctors are condemnable. There is a safe environment and environment available to the doctors in Madhya Pradesh, which is also their right. Doctors Protection Act is in force in the state. The government will try to protect this right of doctors.

More than 800 delegates have come to the convention

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated the convention by lighting the lamp. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was welcomed by the office bearers of Fogsy present at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore. Dr. Archara Baser said that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is sensitive towards the women's society. Always striving for the upbringing of daughters, their marriage and their welfare.

He is a grassroots leader. The report of the deliberations being held in the convention will also be submitted to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. Dr. Kavita Bapat said that when we all came out from the difficult situation of Corona, it is not known. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has succeeded in dealing with a big problem with his leadership qualities. Organizing Chairman Dr. Asha Bakshi, Secretary Dr. Madhuri Patel also addressed the inaugural session of the convention. President Dr. Shanta Kumari, Dr. Jean Kundri, Dr. Alpesh Gandhi, Dr. Jaideep Tank was also present. It was told that the organization has about four thousand members. More than 800 delegates are participating in the convention and presenting research papers.
