Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission revokes 422 applications for medical officer posts
Indore: In wake of various unmet criteria including non-permanent registration in MP Medical Council, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has revoked the applications of 422 candidates for the posts of Medical Officer.
MPPSC, which is responsible for conducting civil services examinations and competitive examinations had invited online applications for recruitment on 576 posts of medical officers lying vacant in Public Health and Family Welfare Department by July 23, 2021.

The applicants were given a deadline of August 5 for submission of their documents. However, 422 applications received was cancelled by the Commission due to various reasons including non-submission of documents within the prescribed limit, late submission of documents, non-eligibility etc.
Three hundred applications were cancelled due to non-receipt of documents whereas 74 applications were cancelled because of late submission of documents.
Besides, 38 candidates did not submit documents regarding their educational qualification while 8 candidates were found ineligible for the said post, therefore their applications were also cancelled.
Meanwhile, a candidate's candidature was cancelled due to non-permanent registration in MP Medical Council whereas another was cancelled due to age limit, reports The Free Press Journal.
