Maha: NCP stir over delay in approval for Govt medical college in Parbhani
Interacting via video link, NCP Women Wing National President stated, "Parbhanikars have been struggling for the last several years to get a government medical college at Parbhani. The approval process for the government medical college is in its final stages."
Parbhani: Rajya Sabha MP Faujia Khan here on Wednesday protested the alleged delay in sanctioning the proposal of the Parbhani Government Medical College.
Also NCP Women Wing National President, Ms Khan averred that the approval is pending as Industries Minister Subhash Desai is procrastinating the clearance of the land transfer file.
In the past too, the woman parliamentarian has agitated on the issue along with the Parbhanikar Sangharsh Samiti and former MLA Advocate Vijayrao Gavhane.
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Jadhav has also launched an all-party agitation on the matter.
Interacting via video link, Ms Khan stated, "Parbhanikars have been struggling for the last several years to get a government medical college at Parbhani. The approval process for the government medical college is in its final stages."
"Minister Subhash Desai has not yet signed the land transfer requirement for the college. So this process is stalled," she underscored.
