Missing MBBS student traced down in Lonavala
Pune: Taking immediate action on the missing report about a final-year MBBS student of BJ Medical College, the Faraskhana police traced the medico to Lonavala after checking 50 CCTV camera footage, and finally handed him to his parents.
The complaint was lodged a couple of days ago, wherein, the 24-year old medico who was depressed about his medical career and result suddenly went missing on the 30th of August. However, within 2 days of filing the missing report, cops found the medical student near Lonavla.
A per a recent media report in Pune Mirror, police constable Sayaji Chauhan and Aakash Balmiki stated that they checked the camera footage of the old Mumbai Pune highway. First, they located the medical student walking towards Mumbai, and after checking all the footages installed in hotels and private properties, they have found the youth near a toll Plaza on the way to Lonavala.
Previously the Medical Dialogues team reported that the 24-year old medico was nowhere to be found since August 30. It so happened that the medico, who was living with his parents during the lockdown decided to visit the city to pay a Darshan to the Dagduseth Ganpati during the occasion of Ganesh pooja. At the temple, the medico asked his father to pose for him in front of the idol as he wanted to click a picture of his father. However, due to the huge crowd, the medico suddenly blended into the gathering and disappeared.
His father also mentioned that his son was suffering from depression and he was seriously concerned regarding his final year results as he could not clear his final year exams. The concerned father suspected that the medico was feeling tremendous pressure and was unwilling to pursue medicine as a profession.
The police have confirmed that they had to go through 50 CCTV camera footages to trace the whereabouts of the medico.
