AOI Babina Specialty Hospital honoured for exceptional performance under AB-PMJAY

Imphal: AOI Babina Specialty Hospital Imphal has been recognized as one of the best-performing hospitals by the National Health Authority (NHA), Government of India, for its contribution to applying and promoting the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) scheme and Chief Minister Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) scheme.
Issuing a press release, the authorities stated that on the eve of India's 77th Independence Day, AOI Imphal earned the national honour as one of the best-performing hospitals under the AB-PMJAY & CMHT scheme and it proves the dedication and vision of providing accessible and affordable quality ensured healthcare services to the citizens of Manipur.

This hospital also bagged the "Best Hospital to Work For" award in February this year. The award has been conferred by the Association of Healthcare Providers India. American oncology institute has been awarded for the best human resource practices in the North East region for the welfare of staff and their well-being.
As per a recent media report by Epao, Amit Dhawan, Regional COO, AOI, Imphal expressed his gratitude for the recognition and said, "We are deeply honoured to receive this prestigious recognition from the National Health Authority. At AOI Imphal, we have always believed in the principle that high-quality healthcare is a fundamental right of every individual."
"This award is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing world-class cancer care services while also contributing to the larger goal of universal healthcare," he further added.
Currently, 136 employees including 70 female staff are working at the American Oncology Institute, Babina Specialty Hospital. AOI Imphal also has a state-of-the-art facility and highly skilled medical staff.
