3rd year MBBS student found dead in Rajasthan's medical college hostel
Rajasthan: In a tragic incident, a third-year MBBS student was found dead in his hostel room in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. No suicide note was recovered from the spot.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as 22-year-old MBBS student, a resident of Kotputli, Rajasthan. He had gone to his room after dinner on Tuesday night. However, he did not come out the entire next day. Seeing this, his classmates informed the warden, who then peeped through the ventilator and later informed the police.
Subsequently, a team from the Hanumangarh Junction police station, including Circle Officer (CO) City Meenakshi and Station House Officer (SHO) Ramchandra Kaswan, immediately reached the hostel and broke down the door to enter the room. Thereafter, a forensic team was also called to the scene.
Meanwhile, the police have taken the body into custody, and a forensic team has collected evidence from the scene. Also, students and staff are being questioned. SHO Kaswan informed that they received information about a suicide at the boys' hostel of the Government Medical College, according to ETVBharat.
Police are currently investigating why he took such an extreme step. Therefore, his friends, roommates, and classmates are being questioned to determine the cause of his death. The case is being investigated from all angles. However, police have stated that no suicide note has been found so far. Moreover, his phone call details and social media activity are being examined.
The deceased medico's parents were also informed about the incident, and they arrived in Hanumangarh from Kotputli. After the post-mortem examination, the body was handed over to them. The family is in shock over their son's death and said that the student had never mentioned any problems to them.
