Madurai: The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has recently dismissed a plea seeking the court's direction to the State government to reserve land for the construction of Tenkasi Government Medical College.
The petitioner requested that 11.11 acres of land adjacent to the Tenkasi Government Hospital should be earmarked for the construction of a medical college. However, the bench observed that there was no such proposal to establish a medical college in the Tenkasi district yet.
