Final year MBBS student suspended for allegedly appearing as solver during NEET 2020

Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking incident, an MBBS final year student attached to GSVM Medical College has been suspended from the college for allegedly sitting as a solver illegally in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET 2020). He has also been expelled from the hostel.

After being suspended and expelled from the hostel, he has now been banned from appearing in the MBBS final year examination to be held in February 2021.

The suspension came after the student along with a whole gang was allegedly caught by the police of two police stations of Kanpur jointly last week.

According to a recent report by Pledge Times, the principal of the institution professor RB Kamal informed that he got some news of the student being involved with the NEET 2020 solver gang. The medico has been identified as a final year student of batch 2016 and he has been a scholar student of the institution. He had got good rank in the 2016 NEET examination. He is being considered among the top 10 students of his batch and the teachers are surprised by the allegations raised against him.

The principal clarified that the investigating committee is already carrying out the probe against the student and if the charges are found to be true then strict actions will be taken against him.

The medical college administration has already formed the committee headed by the student in charge to initiate the necessary investigation regarding the whole incident. The committee will report its findings

Based on the report, his MBBS has been banned from taking the final year examination. Medical College Principal Dr. RB Kamal said that taking action from his level, he has given information to the government. The police have not reported their action, adds Dainik Jagran
