Kota: A 20-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh preparing for NEET in Kota was reported missing from her PG room in Anantapur police station for eight days and is yet to be traced.
The NEET aspirant, identified as Singh (20), a resident of Kaushambi Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, had been preparing for NEET in a coaching institute in Kota for a year and living in a PG room in Gobariabawari area under Anantpura police station in Kota.
Police informed PTI that separate teams were dispatched to trace the woman and search for her is still on. "Singh, a resident of Kaushambi Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, had been preparing for NEET in a coaching institute here for a year. She lived in a PG in the Gobariabawari area of Kota," they informed.

On April 21, she did not return to the PG room after leaving her coaching centre. At the complaint of the caretaker of the PG, a missing person report was lodged at Anantpura Police Station on April 23, adds PTI.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Manish Sharma on Sunday said the woman's mobile phone continues to be switched off.
"A missing report was registered by the PG owner on April 23. She had gone out to write a test on April 21 but has not come back since then. We have filed a missing complaint. Her family has been informed. They are also searching and so are we," police official Bhupendra Singh informed NDTV.
"We are scanning the CCTV footage from railway, bus stations. We have also sent a search team to UP," the cop added.
Earlier this week, a 19-year-old NEET aspirant allegedly died by suicide, making it the seventh such case by a coaching student in Kota since January.
