DME Gujarat Begins Registration Process For PG AYUSH Courses, Apply till 8th October

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has begun the registration process for PG AYUSH courses for the academic year 2023-24. The list of help centres has also been released.

The detailed schedule –

1. Online PIN purchase from the website of the admission committee – up to 08-10-2023 03:00 pm

2. For online registration - up to 08-10-2023 05:00 pm

3. Documents verification and submission of photocopies of documents at the help centre – up to 09-10-2023 04:00 pm

Process of online admission –

1. Online registration and document upload

2. Document verification at the help centre: to confirm registration

3. Preparation and publication of merit list by ACPPGMEC

4. Online choice filling & allotment of admission

5. Payment of tuition fees

6. Original document submission at help centre: to confirm admission

Online registration & documents upload –

1. PIN Purchase: Online from the DME website

2. Filling of AIAPGET details and authentication thru’ PIN

3. Filling of the Candidate's all details and documents upload

4. Password generation

5. Confirmation of filled details

6. Take Print-out of Registration Details

List of original documents to be uploaded &verified -

1. Final year attempt-wise BAMS/ BHMS marksheets

2. Copy of AIAPGET Marksheet of the current academic year

3. Internship completion certificate on or before 31/10/2023

4. Provisional Registration of Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine/ Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Gujarat State OR Central Council of Indian Medicine / Central Council of Homoeopathy ((In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine/ Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Gujarat State OR Central Council of Indian medicine / Central Council of Homoeopathy (In case of old pass out candidates) with renewal receipt where is applicable

5. Document showing Date and place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)

6. For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

7. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2021

8. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2021

9. For PwD Candidates: Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority

10. Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign

The online registration (application) process, available here on the ACPPGMEC website, is applicable for –

1. Admission for Government Seats of MD/MS (Ayurveda) and MD (Homeopathy)

2. All India Quota (15%) Seats of Self-financed Ayurveda/Homeopathy Colleges

3. Management (10%) & NRI Quota (15%) of Self-financed Ayurveda/Homeopathy Colleges for the academic year 2023-24 of Gujarat State

All the candidates who are qualified as per AIA-PGET-2023 criteria as well as AYUSH ministry, New Delhi guidelines, passed BAMS/BHMS from the universities of Gujarat state, are eligible for State Quota seats as well as for 15% SFI All India Quota seats and Management Quota seats of SFI Colleges. Candidates who are qualified as per AIA-PGET-2023 criteria as well as AYUSH ministry, New Delhi guidelines, and passed BAMS/BHMS from the universities of any state of India other than Gujarat are eligible only for 15% SFI All India Quota seats.

To participate in the admission process, the candidates have to purchase a PIN through online payment of Rs. 2000/- and do online registration from the DME website by themselves, thereafter to complete the registration process, they must go to the help centre with their required original certificates and registration slip within the scheduled time. The candidates who fail to register and verify their documents within the scheduled time by any means will not be considered for admission in any circumstances.

Preparation and publication of merit list -

1. After the registration process, ACPPGMEC will prepare and declare a merit list of all eligible candidates

2. The candidate needs to verify the merit number and category as mentioned in the registration

Online choice filling & allotment of admission -

1. After merit declaration, the choice filling will be initiated online for each round

2. After the choice-filling period is over, the ACPPGMEC will process the allotment of seats and declare the status of allotment on the website

3. The candidates can view their status of allotment by login to their own User ID

Payment of tuition fees -

The candidate has to pay the requisite amount of tuition fees by cash/DD at any of the designated Axis Bank branches or through online payment within the time limit specified by the ACPPGMEC.
