KNRUHS Announces Schedule of Registrations For UG AYUSH Courses Under Competent Authority Quota

Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has announced the schedule for registration of online applications and uploading of original certificates for UG AYUSH courses under the Competent Authority Quota.

Candidates can register online and upload scanned certificates on the website mentioned in the notice below up to 8.00 PM on 15-11-2023 only. The fresh registration process is being carried out due to a reduction in the cut-off percentile.

Registration and Verification Fee for BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS Courses: -

The Registration and verification fee is Rs.2,500/-(Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC category candidates, and for SC/ST category candidates is Rs.2,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra). The fee shall be paid online through a Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.

Online application forms without uploading mandatory Certificates or passport-size photos, without a signature at the declaration area, incomplete applications will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories using NEET-UG-2023 rank.

The mere fact that the Merit position issued to the candidate does not imply that the candidature is accepted by the University, and it does not mean that the entries made by the candidate in the online application are accepted as true and correct.

The consolidated Provisional Final Merit list will be notified after scrutiny of all certificates uploaded at the time of online registration. The total number of vacant seats available under the Competent Authority Quota will be notified on the website before exercising web options for the next phase of counseling. Tuition fees will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.

The University will take up the verification of original certificates with regard to eligibility conditions, i.e., NEET UG-2023 Rank, educational qualifications, local/non-local area status, and category status as per uploaded relevant certificates by the concerned department officials. If the information furnished by the candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled, and further action that is deemed fit will be taken.

Candidates' eligibility for admission into UG AYUSH courses for the academic year 2023-24 will be examined by the University only after scrutiny of the application along with all uploaded copies of required certificates, and the provisional final merit list will be notified.

An in-eligible candidate obtaining a merit position does not make the candidate eligible for admission. Admission will be considered only for candidates who have secured marks above the cutoff score in the NEET – UG – 2023 exam and based on the state merit order, as the case may be.

Scrutiny of uploaded original certificates shall be conducted by the university and concerned department officials. After scrutiny of the application and certificates provisional final merit list will be released. Candidates are advised to refer to the KNRUHS website for further details regarding the schedule for exercising web options. No individual communication will be sent.

Admissions will be in accordance with the Orders issued from time to time by the Government of Telangana, the Government of India, NCISM /NCH, relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and High Court orders. University regulations with regard to Admission into AYUSH Courses shall also apply.

After allotment candidate should download the allotment order, submit the printout of the filled-in online application form, allotment order, Bonds and original certificates along with (1) a set of self-attested copies to the Principal of the allotted college, and pay the college fee and tuition fee at the time of joining. The admission committee is responsible for scrutiny of the original certificates submitted by the candidate. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order for admission will be cancelled.

1. Admit card of NEET UG - 2023

2. Rank card of NEET UG-2023

3. SSC or equivalent examination containing the Date of Birth

4. Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination, i.e., Intermediate or Equivalent examination.

5. Pre-Tib examination Certificate for BUMS course if applicable.

6. Transfer certificate (T.C)

7. Study Certificate(s) from 6th class to Intermediate.

8. Latest Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) claiming reservation under BC/SC/ST Categories issued by the competent authority of Govt. of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh

9. Aadhar Card

10. Minority certificates issued by the concerned Department.

11. Candidates who have studied in institutions outside of Telangana have to submit 10 years (years of period to be specified) residence certificate of the candidate excluding the period of study or 10 years residence certificate either of the parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Govt. of Telangana/AP.

12. The candidates claiming fee exemption shall produce the latest Income certificate of the Parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Govt.of Telangana.

13. Undertaking in the form of an Affidavit by the Parent and Candidate stating that the caste and area mentioned in the certificates are genuine and they will be held responsible for any further consequences as per law if any discrepancy is noticed. (See Annexure-III).

14. Residence certificate issued by MRO of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for candidates who appeared privately.

15. Candidates claiming eligibility for reservation under Special categories CAP should furnish the required certificate supporting their claim.

16. EWS Certificate issued after April 2023 and valid for the year 2023-24 for claiming reservation under EWS Categories issued by Competent Authority (Tahasildar) of State of Telangana (If applicable).

17. NCC certificate for the award of Grace marks as per G.O.Ms.No. 166, HM & FW (E2) Dept, dated. 23.09.2023 .

ELIGIBILITY -

Candidates who have qualified in NEET- UG -2023 by securing marks of cutoff score or above have to apply for determining the State Merit position for Competent Authority quota seats subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations/Prospectus. The candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy the Local or Non-local status in Telangana State as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974. Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No.646, dated 10-7-1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC) Department, dated 18.05.2009, G.O.MS.No. 170, HM&FW (E2) Department, Dated: 19-09-2017, G.O.Ms.No.77, HM & FW (C1) Dept, dated. 04.07.2023, G.O.Ms.No. 166, HM & FW (E2) Dept, dated. 23.09.2023, Amendments and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court/High Court orders.

Candidates possessing qualification of the University/Board or an institution outside the State should enclose a certificate of equivalence from the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana.

AGE: The Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31-12-2023. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31- 12-2023 are not eligible for admission. The candidates born on or after 02- 01-2007 are not eligible for admission into BAMS/BHMS/BUMS Courses.

Further, there is no upper age limit for admission to ASU&H-UG courses. Age shall be calculated based on the date of birth as mentioned in the Secondary School Certificate. Relaxation of age eligibility criteria of a candidate will not be permitted for under-aged candidates.

Candidates who claim for admission under Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category shall mention in the online application as applying under PWD category and have to appear for evaluation of their disability status before a Medical Board to be constituted for the purpose by KNR University of Health Sciences as per the schedule to be notified by the University for eligibility under PWD status.
