WBUHS Opens Registration Portal For UG AYUSH Courses
West Bengal: The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has opened the registration portal for UG AYUSH courses.
Per the notice, the portal will remain open till 12.05.2023 (11:59 PM). Candidates should complete the online registration during the prescribed schedule. Simultaneously, college approval can be done by the college authorities.
For those unable to complete the online registration during the time mentioned above, the portal will be available till 12.07.2023 (11:59 PM) with an applicable late fee. All concerned must refer to the "I Need Help Section" online on the same page before proceeding with the form fill-up/verification.
The courses included are –
1. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
2. Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
3. Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)
The SMS & Helpline facilities will be available. Candidates are requested to deactivate any existing DND facility in their mobile to avoid SMS failure.
For affiliating, teaching and ensuring proper and systematic instruction, training and research in the Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Education on Laboratory Technology, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Education on other paramedical courses' THE WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES ACT – 2002' was passed by the West Bengal Legislature and 'The West Bengal University of Health Sciences' came into existence on 1st January 2003 in Kolkata.
From 2003 the University took up the responsibility of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Post-doctoral courses, including the PhD program in Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Education on other paramedical courses like Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics-Orthotics in the state of West Bengal.
