CENTAC Informs on 1:10 Registration, Spot Registration For PG Dental Courses

Puducherry: Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) informed about 1:10 registration and spot registration for the PG Dental course.

Per the notice, 1: 10 registration for PG Dental is open. The candidates using dashboard login credentials will have to submit their willingness along with proof of payment of Rs.10000/- towards the 1: 10 Registration fee for the MDS Prosthodontics under management quota vacancy in Mahe Institute of Dental Sciences. The last date of registration is 30.11.2022, 1.00 pm.

The candidates need to transfer the Registration fee to the CENTAC account through e- transfer / DD. The bank details are enclosed in the notice below. They need to upload the proof of payment using the link given in the dashboard, failing which, you will not be considered for allotment.

CENTAC has further informed that at the end of the 1:10 round (01.12.2022, 2 pm), unregistered CENTAC candidates are instructed to report to the CENTAC office for Spot Registration, filling up the remaining vacancies, if any.

Eligibility –

1. The candidate must have passed the final BDS examination for MDS courses from any recognized Institution / University, completed a good one-year compulsory rotating internship as of 31st March 2022 for MDS courses, and submit their internship completion certificate at the time of admission.

2. To become eligible for admission, a candidate must obtain a minimum required percentile in NEET-MDS-2022, as prescribed by regulatory authorities such as the National Board of Examination, National Medical Commission, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, etc., as the case may be

NEET-MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MDS Courses. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, is valid for entry to MDS courses. Qualifying for NEET-MDS is mandatory for entry to MDS courses under various Universities/ Institutions in the country. The exam is conducted once a year.

The Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) conducts NEET MDS counselling. It is a common admission portal for all the colleges of Puducherry and is established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and appeared in such a qualifying examination are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.
