Gujarat MDS counselling 2026 round 1 choice filling begins, 260 seats available
Gujarat: The Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC), Government of Gujarat, has announced the schedule for the first round of online choice filling for the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) admissions for the academic year 2026-27.
The round is open to all eligible candidates included in the ACPPGMEC merit list for admission to Government, Management and NRI quota seats in Government and self-financed dental colleges across Gujarat.
As per the advertisement issued by the ACPPGMEC, Round 1 online choice filling commenced on August 31, 2026 and will continue till September 5, 2026, up to 11:00 AM. Candidates will be able to view the choices filled by them on September 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

Along with this, the ACPPGMEC, Government of Gujarat, has also released the tentative seat matrix for Round 1 of MDS admissions for the academic year 2026-27, listing a total of 260 seats across government and self-financed dental colleges in the state.
According to the official seat matrix, the 260 seats are distributed across Government Quota (GQ), Institutional Quota (UQ), Management Quota (MQ) and NRI Quota (NQ). The quota-wise breakup shows 151 Government Quota seats, 50 Institutional Quota seats, 56 Management Quota seats and 3 NRI Quota seats.
