MCC directs dental colleges to verify, freeze final seat matrix for NEET MDS Counselling 2026
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has asked all participating dental colleges and institutes to complete the final verification and freezing of their seat matrix for NEET MDS Counselling 2026 through the designated counselling portal.
The exercise is crucial because only the seats that are correctly verified and finally frozen will be considered for the final seat matrix used during counselling.
In a notice issued in this regard, MCC informed participating institutions that the process for Final Seat Matrix Verification and Freeze is to be completed through the designated portal.
The committee has cautioned colleges against waiting until the last date to complete the process and has warned that any seat or information not properly verified or frozen within the prescribed timeline may not be included in the final seat matrix for NEET MDS Counselling 2026.
All Institutes are requested to follow the steps given below-
1 Log in to the portal using your PIADMIN User ID and Password.
2 After successful login, go to the option Seat matrix, then “Verification of Commission, Institute Seat Intake with Discrepancy and Freeze.”
3 Carefully verify the Institute Seat Intake, course-wise seat details, category-wise distribution, and other relevant information displayed on the portal.
4 In case ensuring that all seat details are correct and complete, the Institute shall proceed with the Final Seat Matrix Freeze.
6 Institutes are advised to carefully verify all details before freezing, as the seat matrix, once finally frozen, will be considered for processing of PG MDS Counselling 2026.
Meanwhile, it is to be noted that any seat/information not correctly verified or frozen within the prescribed timeline may not be considered for inclusion in the Final Seat Matrix of PG MDS Counselling 2026.
