Fill city choice for AIIMS DM, MCh, MD (Hospital Administration), Fellowship Programme Entrance Exam July 2020

New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has notified about the Choice filling of City for AIIMS DM, MCh (3 Yrs.), MD (Hospital Administration) & Fellowship Programme Entrance Examination July 2020 session. The exams are scheduled to be held on June 5, 2020.

The notice states the following:

In view of the evolving Covid-19 outbreak and issues related to travel restrictions and social distancing, the competent authority of AIIMS has decided to increase the number of cities for examination to minimize the travel need for candidates.

All eligible candidates should login& re-choose the city for examination from 15.05.2020 to 18.05.2020 by 5: PM. For candidates who do not choose the examination city during the above schedules, it will be assumed that their earlier choice is to be considered.

The city for examination shall be allocated on the basis of the order of application form, candidate's choice, and availability of computer nodes. All efforts shall be made to minimize the need for travel for all candidates. The decision of AIIMS, New Delhi in this regard will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released an extended schedule for DM, MCh, MD Hospital Administration program entrance exams July 2020.

These exams were earlier postponed due to coronavirus and lockdown.

Now, resuming back the admission process, the authority has released the extended schedule. The same is attached below:

All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity, and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.

Twenty-five clinical departments including four super specialty centers manage practically all types of disease conditions with support from pre- and Para-clinical departments. However, burn cases, dog-bite cases, and patients suffering from infectious diseases are not entertained in the AIIMS Hospital. AIIMS also manages a 60-bedded hospital in the Comprehensive Rural Health Centre at Ballabgarh in Haryana and provides health cover to about 2.5 lakh population through the Centre for Community Medicine.
