JIPMER releases results for DM, MCh entrance exam, tentative admission schedule, instructions for eligible candidates

Puducherry: The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has released the results for the DM, MCh entrance exam.

All the Eligible Candidates who are vying to get DM, MCh admissions at JIPMER, can view the results released by the institute as well as the tentative schedule and instructions issued for them for verification and admission as mentioned below:

On the basis of the performance in the online entrance exam, the eligible candidates have been mentioned below These students are advised to visit JIPMER website regularly.

All applicants who have appeared for the entrance examination can download their individual rank letter from official website of JIPMER(www.jipmer.edu.in) w.e.f 14-12-2020 at 11.00AM onwards.

All the students need to scan their documents properly with a scanner (not a mobile phone) and send them to JIPMERPGCOURSES@JIPMER.EDU.IN on or before 16.12.2020. Those students who fail to send the documents in the stipulated time and below mentioned format will be removed from admission process and no requests will be entertained in this regard.

Emails must be sent as per the given instructions only. Any emails which are not in proper format will not be considered for document verification. Subject of Email must be only the "Course Name" for example. D.M. Critical care/ M.CH. Surgical Oncology etc.

Email must contain students name and roll no. as per the hall ticket . Documents must be in single file in PDF format only. Documents must be arranged in the order given below.

PDF file must be named as per your name in the hall ticket.

II. List of Certificates

The eligible candidates should scan and send the following original certificates in the given order.

1.Original hall Ticket with Seal marked by exam Venue Invigilator on the day of examination.

2. Proof of date of Birth (Birth Certificate or X Std. certificate)

3. MBBS Degree certificate

4. MD/ MS/ DNB Degree Certificate/ Provisional Degree Certificate

5. Character and Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institute last studied.

6. Migration Certificate OR Transfer certificate from the university last studied.

7. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate (MBBS) from Medical Council of India (or State Medical Council)

8. Registration of Additional Medial qualification with M.C.I.

9. Sponsorship Certificate.

10. Service candidate should produce NOC/Relieving Order and a certificate granting study leave with or without pay as the case may be(if applicable).

If the certificates are in any other language, except in English, English Translation attested by a Gazetted Officer should be produced at the time of physical verification of documents.

After scrutinizing the certificates sent by the students, JIPMER will inform the shortlisted candidates to make the required payment i.e.(Admission Fee+ Security Deposit Rs. 50,000). The link for making payment will be made available only for the shortlisted candidates.

Eligibility criteria for admission

a. Candidates should be Indian Nationals or Overseas Citizens of India. (OCI registered under section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955, should submit proof of Registrations OCI under section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 at the time of admission failing which admission with stand cancelled)
b. Candidates should have passed M.D. / M.S. / DNB Degree from any University recognized as equivalent there to by the Medical Council of India.
c. Must be registered with Central /State Medical Registration Council.
