BFUHS Issues notice on NEET PG Counselling Round 2, details

Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) issued details related to the round 2 counseling schedule for NEET PG.

Counseling schedule round 2 –

1. The last date/time of submission of objections to the provisional allotment (if any) by the NEET PG aspirants. Note: Objections can be submitted only by personal appearance/visit along with relevant documents/record in Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot - 02.11.2022 (upto 11.00 AM)

2. In case there is any change in provisional allotment after considering objections, the same will be displayed on the university website on - 02.11.2022

3. The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of the fee (Six-month fee – security deposit) through the university payment gateway through the university website and will join the respective allotted college – Up to 05.11.2022 Up to 5.00 PM

4. List of joined candidates up to 2nd round of counseling will be displayed on the university website – Up to 07.11.2022

As per BFUHS, candidates who have joined the allotted seat in Round 2 and further rounds of counseling will not be allowed to resign and will be ineligible to participate in further rounds of any counseling.

There is no option of resignation if the candidate is not upgraded in Round 2. Round-1 joined candidates who neither participate in Round-2 nor resign from the seat of Round-1 will be considered part of Round-2 after the stipulated time. Therefore, since the list of candidates who have joined the 2nd round of online counseling of All India Quota is not released yet, the result of the 2nd round of Punjab State PG counseling is put on hold and will now be declared on 01.11.2022 instead of 30.10.2022.

Eligibility –

1. The candidates have to be NEET PG qualified.

2. The candidates must have completed an MBBS degree from any recognized medical college/institute in India and possess an MBBS pass certificate.

3. The candidates should obtain a 12-month rotatory internship completion certificate issued on or before March 31, 2022.

4. Candidates must provide the permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
