BFUHS MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, PG Diploma counselling for NRI quota to be held online
Faridkot: Through a recent notice, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has notified the online counselling for MD/MS/PG Diploma and MBBS/BDS courses (UG NEET-2021) under NRI Quota, session 2021-22, shall be conducted online through University website.
BFUHS has notified the candidates that the online counselling schedule will be uploaded shortly. ID and password to log in to the University online portal have been sent to all candidates on their email. If any candidate did not get ID & password, they can send a request at University email nriadmissionbfuhs@gmail.com. The request needs to be sent on an immediate basis, said the BFUHS notice.
The University has also requested the candidates to check the website regularly.
The counselling process will be as follows -
• Candidate Registration
• Choice Filling and Locking
• Seat Allotment Result
• Reporting to college
Candidates need to appear in the entrance exam conducted by the University or through national-level medical entrance examinations like NEET-UG and NEET – PG for admission to medical courses. The candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible for admission. The selection will be done based on the NEET score and counseling sessions.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences is a State University located in Faridkot, Punjab, and was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July 1998. Its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs offer many medical courses. Apart from major medical courses like MMBS, MD, MS, BFUHS also offers nursing & pharmacy courses, certified courses, and physiotherapy courses. The institute is recognized by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC) and also approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Dental Council of India (DCI).
