Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) released the remaining schedule for a mop-up round of counselling for NEET PG admissions.

Detailed schedule –

1. Processing of seat allotment - 24.11.2022

2. Display of provisional allotment / Result - 25.11.2022

3. The last date/time of submission of objections to the provisional allotment (if any) by the NEET PG aspirants - 26.11.2022 (up to 04.00 PM)

4. Fee payment - From 27.11.2022 to 30.11.2022

Candidates note that objections can be submitted only by personal appearance/visit along with relevant documents/records in Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot.

The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of the fee (Six-month fee – security deposit) through the university payment gateway through the university website and will join the respective allotted college.

Once the candidates have joined the allotted seat in the mop-up round of counselling, then they will not be allowed to surrender the seat as per directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 16.12.2021 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No. 10487 of 2021 Nihila P.P Vs Medical Counselling Committee and ors.

Candidates to whom seats will be allotted in the mop-up round but who do not report/join at the college may exit with forfeiture. The security deposit will not be refunded in such cases. The security deposit will be refundable to those with no seat in the mop-up round of counselling.

The candidates applying under Sikh Minority/Christian Minority Quota will report to the respective minority institution (SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritsar / Christian Minority College, Ludhiana) for verification of minority status. The candidates who have already verified their minority status need not verify again. The candidates who have registered under Minority Quota during 1st / the 2nd counselling and did not get verified their minority status can also demonstrate the same for the Mop-up round of counselling.

Further, BFUHS announced a stray vacancy round for PG Medical/Dental courses in physical mode. The date/schedule for the Stray vacancy round will be intimated later through the University website. For detailed schedules & updates, the candidates need to visit www.bfuhs.ac.in.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
