BSc Nursing at PGIMER: Last date to apply today, Paramedical July 7. Check out all details
Chandigarh: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has invited applications for BSc Nursing, BSc Post Basic Nursing and Paramedical Courses. The last date to apply for BSc Nursing and BSc Post Basic Nursing is today, 24 June 2022, and Paramedical Courses are 7th July 2022.
Admission to the BSc Nursing, BSc Post Basic Nursing and Paramedical Courses are made annually. The session commences in September of each year. The computer-based entrance test for the nursing courses has been scheduled for 28 July 2022, and for paramedical courses on 5 August 2022.
A total of 93 seats are there for BSc Nursing; a 4 years course only for female candidates. 62 seats are there for BSc Post Basic Nursing. Both men and women can apply.
The earlier notification published on the website suggests that Paramedical courses have 105 seats.
Paramedical courses include –
1. Bachelors in Medical Laboratory Science (Only Medical students) - 4 years
2. BSc Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (Only Medical students) (Seats below the line are without stipend) - 4 years
3. BSc Radiotherapy Technology – 3 & ½ years
4. BSc Operation Theatre Technology - 4 years
5. BSc Medical Technology (Perfusionist) (only for Medical Students) (without stipend) – 3 years
6. Bachelor of Science (Embalming and Mortuary Science) (Only for Medical Students, without stipend)- 3 years
7. Bachelor of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) – 4 years
8. BSc Medical Technology (Dialysis Therapy Technology) (without stipend) – 4 years
9. Bachelor of Optometry - 4 years
10. Bachelors of Physical Therapy (BPhT) (Only Medical Students) – 4 & ½ years
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a public medical university in Chandigarh, established in 1962 under the erstwhile state of Punjab.
