CENTAC Extends Choice Filling facility For PG Medical Admissions, Details
Puducherry: The government of Puducherry Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) notifies that the time for submission of choice preference for PG Medical courses has been extended.
The candidates can fill in the choice preferences till 22nd February 2022 till 6:00 pm. Candidates can refer to the website www.centacpuducherry. for more details.
To appear for PG Medical counselling, candidates need to enter their choices of medical colleges and courses in which they wish to get specialization. There is no limit to the choices candidate can fill. Final admission will be granted based on the choices filled, state merit rank, and seats available.
The counselling will be of 3 rounds. A mop-up round will be conducted if vacant seats are left after rounds 1 and 2 of counseling. Candidates for whom any seats have not been allotted in rounds 1 and 2 can appear for the mop-up round.
Candidates must be a citizen of India, have completed an MBBS degree along with the compulsory rotatory residential internship, and have qualified NEET PG 2021 to apply for PG Medical courses. UT of Puducherry candidates are eligible for the Government Quota Seats, and candidates from all other states will be eligible for All India Quota Seats. The institute where the MBBS degree is completed must be recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Candidates are required to submit the following documents -
1. NEET PG 2021 scorecard and allotment letter
2. MBBS degree certificate and mark sheet and course completion certificate.
3. Compulsory rotatory residential internship certificate.
4. Permanent or provisional medical registration certificate issued by the MCI.
5. Community certificate, if applicable.
6. Class X Mark Sheet.
7. Class XII Mark Sheet.
8. Passport Size Photographs.

CENTAC is a common admission portal to all the colleges of Puducherry and is established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and appeared in such a qualifying examination are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.
