CENTAC Invites Applications for BNYS Admissions 2024-25

Puducherry- The Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has invited applications from candidates of the Union Territory of Puducherry for admission to the undergraduate BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yoga Sciences) degree course at the Government College of Yoga & Naturopathy Chennai and International Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy Sciences Chengalpattu for the academic year 2024-25.

As per the press release issued in this regard, the application form for the said course has already been made live on the official website of TN Health. Therefore, candidates who are interested in taking admission into Undergraduate BNYS Medical Degree Courses at Government College of Yoga & Naturopathy Chennai and International Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy Sciences Chengalpattu for the academic year 2024-25 can download the application form from the official website of TN Health. The last date for submission of filled applications is 08 July 2024 by 5.30 PM.

Please note that after filling out the application form candidates must take out two copies of the filled application. One self-attested copy of the application should be submitted to the Secretary, Selection Committee, Directorate of Indian Medicine & Homeopathy, Arignar Anna Government Indian Medicine Hospital Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106 in advance within the last date prescribed. Also, another self-attested copy along with the CENTAC NON-NEET application must be submitted to the Convenor, CENTAC, Kamarajar Manimandapam, Karuvadikuppam before July 10, 2024, till 6 pm.

Meanwhile, the press release mentions the educational qualifications for admission to undergraduate BNYS medical degree courses at Government College of Yoga & Naturopathy Chennai and International Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy Sciences Chengalpattu for the academic year 2024-25.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent Board in the following group of subjects along with English individually-

i Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

ii Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.

It is to be noted that, candidates who have passed out from other boards apart from Tamil Nadu State Board, CBSE and ISCE with the same subjects need to also produce the Eligibility Certificate from The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University before attending the Counselling.
