CENTAC Reschedules NEET PG Mop-Up Round, Check out Details
Puducherry: Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) rescheduled the NEET PG mop-up round for All India Quota (AIQ) counselling which was scheduled for 14th November 2022. The list of vacancies and admitted candidates after round 2 have also been released.
The Medical Counselling Committee has extended the schedule for the Mop-Up Round of NEET PG All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling. Accordingly, the CENTAC Mop-up Counselling for PG Medical Courses scheduled on 14th November 2022 is postponed to 18th November 2022, the CENTAC said.
As per the notice, the mop-up round will be carried out on 18th November 2022. The last date of payment of tuition fee is extended to 16th November 2022, 6.00 pm Candidates willing to participate (online/physical) in the mop-up round will have to submit their willingness along with proof of payment using their dashboard login credentials before 16th November 2022, 6.00 pm.

Eligibility –
1. The candidate must have passed the final MBBS examination from any recognized Institution / University, completed a good one-year compulsory rotating internship as of 30th June 2022 and submitted their internship completion certificate at the time of admission.
2. To become eligible for admission, a candidate must obtain a minimum required percentile in NEET-PG, as prescribed by regulatory authorities such as the National Board of Examination, National Medical Commission, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, etc., as the case may be.
NEET PG counselling is conducted by the CentralizedCentralized Admission Committee (CENTAC). It is a common admission portal for all the colleges of Puducherry and is established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and appeared in such a qualifying examination are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.
Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that CENTAC informed about PG Dental and PG Medical round 2 submissions of course preferences. All students registered with CENTAC and all the candidates allotted during round 1 (joined /not joined) are eligible for round 2 counselling. For round 2, filling preferences for Management& Government Quota was enabled from 3rd November 2022 to 4th November 2022, 4.00 pm.
